Farewell Program of Outgoing Students of UAP (Spring 2013)

 

Grand Farewell for outgoing students of Spring 2013 Semester of University of Asia Pacific (UAP) was held at a Convention center of the city on September 24, 2013. Mr. A. A. Kamruzzaman, Chairperson, Board of Trustees of UAP was the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Abdul Matin Patwari, former Vice Chancellor was present as a Special Guest. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Vice Chancellor.

Mr. Kamruzzaman congratulated the outgoing students of different Departments of UAP for successfully completing all requirements and to become eligible to obtain the degree. Citing the success stories of  teenage entrepreneur Mr. Sabirul Islam, and many others like Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury,  he advised the students to follow the examples of successful people at home and abroad in building their career. He also advised the students to work with best of their sincerely and be less of critics to become successful in life. These examples would inspire the students to be great people which would spread the name and fame of UAP all around the world.

Prof. Dr. Jamilur Reza Choudhury, Vice Chancellor in his inspiring speech said, only 6% of the primary school students become lucky like you who can complete their graduation successfully. UAP is committed to quality education and complete the course in time. Vice Chancellor told the students that the 16 years of education up to graduation is considered only the foundation in the modern time. So, now it is the students’ duty to build the ‘superstructure’ over the foundation by doing constant study in quest of knowledge.

Amongst others who spoke on the occasion are, Mr. Abdul Mohin Chowdhury, Senior Vice Chairperson of BOT, Mr. Qayum Reza Chowdhury, Member of BOT, Prof. Dr. Shah Alam, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. M. R. Kabir, Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Md. Abdul Mazid, Registrar of UAP. The members of the faculties and other guests were present.

The program was later followed by a cultural segment.
